    mig a believe with some gas combo. but not sure. i just inspect and repair minor issues that come up on planes. the heavy stuff the send it to a shop i take up the slack for the smaller stuff and my rate is half the shops rate. youll make more money welding than doing what i do.:)

    i almost got there two or three times. but that was working every day overtime. management makes that maybe. average corporate mech makes 50-65k a year and usually they are the director of maintenance also. top airline pay is 42 an hour with fed ex.,37 with united and thirtys from there. you never be rich but youll never be poor either. you have to keep your nose clean though so you can pass security clearance. government contracts pay well. but or not long term. a master car tech makes that hundred your talking about.

    thats the average combined income with a family of four in america. 50k for a single dude is actually a really good living. just have to mange your money and live debt free.

    dont believe the recruiters their jobs are to get you inrolled for that 40k + tuition. relize when youstart out youll be a brake man/lube tech untill you get experience. then you start making the cheddar. it the same cross the board. and the shop rates are for the shops. not you. you make a third of what the shops make. youll work on the side for less.
