    That is because it is a Hot air intake since it is not mounted in front.

    So here is my rough outline of my epic road trip. As THIS stands, it's gonna be like 12 days of driving, outside of the stops. It's right under 15k miles and well, it's gonna be EPIC!!!!!!!!!!! The only real rule is "Don't end up in jail, the hospital, or morgue". Now to find the 2 months to do it in haha

    Damn, I wish I could go! I've been to 95% of the places marked on your map, but never under the auspice of a road trip. It certainly will be epic. Have you considered taking the Inside Passage Ferry out of Vancouver to Anchorage? I know a lot of people who have and they say there is nothing like it in the world. I've driven the AL-CAN highway, and from what I understand the ferry ride has far better scenery. Just a thought.

    I had not. I'll look into it though. i just want to make sure i hit the 4 provinces in canada. i have no desire to go to the big white part above ontario, and that leave PEI, and Newfoundland as the provinces left to visit.

    2005 Tacoma's do not have side airbags but the driver and passenger as well as the seat belt sensors are working.
