    There is no way in hell the baja can pace the raptor. the raptor was one off built for baja style terrain and people with deep pockets or those who pretend to (base is around 43K the one i was looking at was 62k), while toyota wanted to offer something more "weekend warrior" that combine the capabilities, but maintained decent comfort, size (fits in my garage), and reliability (gas mileage) while still being affordable.

    i'm curious to see what mine drops to with all the armor. i'm talking to schrockworks there in screwston to replace the predator tubes with sliders and put on an armored rear. i was hovering right at 21ish.

    Are you taking into account the extra distance you are actually driving vs. the odometer? I did the math and the 285's circumference is 5% larger than stock, so I add 5% to the odometer reading when I figure gas mileage.
