The weather here in Tucson is nuts. We went from 108 degrees in the valley to 68 degrees going over a small pass with cold rain. Crazy!

No wheeling though. I rented a convertible mustang! Having the top down in 100+ weather isn't the best though.

It's no slouch, but it's not exactly quick either. There are plenty of twisty mountain roads to play on though. Though I'd rather be in the Fiesta ST I test drove last weekend than this stang. That was a fun little car.

Oh, the GF had an allergic reaction to her breakfast on the way up here. Fucking Pappadeax in the Dallas airport uses coconut oil to fry with. She took one bite and said it tasted funny. It tasted fine to me, but she pushed the plate away and asked about the food tasting off. The server then told her about the coconut oil. It's a good thing she had meds with her. She started to break out, itch all over, and her throat started to close up.

They had a disclaimer in the menu that it was the patrons responsibility to disclose any allergies to the server. WTF?

Of course the disclaimer was only printed inside the menu, and not on the back where the breakfast choices were. The manager comped us the meal, and she's ok, but that was definitely a scare.

My roommate is allergic to all nuts and doesn't really worry much, since peanut oil has the protein removed he doesn't have to worry, the only place he says something is Asian food
