Think I'm going to do the skids once all these checks clear. Is it worth powder coating the full set or just spraying them myself with the under coating like o did on my sliders?

I would think spraying them yourself would be the best course of action. Why spend money professionally painting something that's meant to be used against rocks, trees, or pedestrians?

 

That's what I thought. Didn't know if powder coating had any special rust inhibitors or something crazy

I've got the first coat of rattle can on mine. They're going yo be touched up so often I would stick with rustoleum spray paint.

 

Kinda hard to inhibit physical force or impact.
