Not much going on at work mang! Seriously slowed down after Tuesday lol.

Doing some brainstorming on wiring right now and drawing up a diagram. Trying to decide where to stuff an inverter in my cab..

plenty of room under the seats and it’s easy to hide wiring.

That's a great idea.. i was thinking maybe under the driver's seat. Not sure how i would secure it though.. maybe some aluminum flat bar going to the seat bolts or something.. still thinking on this, would love to hear your input if you've got any idears

I pulled out the AC duct, ran a thick piece of plastic under the carpet, and used self tapping screws to secure my amp under the drivers seat. Then I used some thick washers to push the seat up a bit so sliding back and forth wouldn’t interfere with the amp/seat.

Thanks for the info buddy! May just end up doing this. I'd like to stuff it under the seat so i dont have to build another platform.. Any idea how tall your amp is? I think i may have clearance issues

here’s the post I did it on

    my amp
    https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130GMDX975/Pioneer-GM-DX975.html
    • dimensions; 12-7/16"W x 2"H x 7-7/8"D
It’s not a small amp but it fit pretty easy. How big is your inverter?

Jeebus that’ll be tricky. You still have the fridge in the back? Maybe widen the base (that part that sits on the floor) and shove it under the fridge.

Dude me too. Not even joking, I’ve had at least two dreams of it in action. Shit needs to hurry up!

lmao where do you find these gifs?!

How long is that piece, I’m betting you can get both in there. Or you could add a wall behind the fridge and mount it to the back. Add some mollee around it for other gear. Easy access to both and lots of utility.

Edit: behind as in at the back of the fridge between that seat and the other.

lol I have that one, gonna use it a bit more liberally :D

Here are some pics of the fridge w/ platform. Looks like it's gonna be tight. I was planning on moving the foot of the platform on the passenger side to be perpendicular to the doors. Was gonna use that to mount the charge controller since it has to be vertically mounted.
