    How's it going Robert

I would love to do the accumulator delete for better pedal feel. I'll read more into it, might add that to the to-do list.

I dunno, I really like the third pedal off road. It's all subjective either way

Going great here buddy just cruising along! How about yourself mang?
Man, i think it'd be a great mod to do, but i flat out refuse to do it because i dread bleeding the clutch.. A simple bleed turned into an 8-10 hr job on my 4cylinder, it was an absolute nightmare. Of course, im sure it was something i was doing wrong, so in theory it shouldnt be that bad.. but you know what they say about murphy's law

    I live having a manual.
I've already had to replace my master cylinder. I had the original pre-TSB-type clutch master cylinder in mine.

I thought 2nd gen 4.0 had no accumulator.

Murphy can be a real jackass. Simple things become ordeals and that's no fun.

It is my understanding both the 2.7L and the 4.0 both have the accumulator on them.. i can double check my 2.7 here in a little while, but i know the 4.0 does, bc there are s/c'd guys that have to remove the accumulator to have enough travel for a twin disk clutch setup

Driver side of the trans behind the bell housing. It would be in between these two fittings in pic 1. Pic 2 and 3 are what it looks like.

It's never something big or catastrophic either, it's always something simple and minuscule that becomes such a massive pain in the ass.

do you have any more pics of how you mounted the pin for your swing out latch? Seems to be recessed. Looks good

I’ll be building my swing out with the same hinge/latch soon

The way the pelfrybilt bumper lines up with the back of the truck made mounting the pin a bit tricky. I used a grinder and cut a hole where the latch would sit and @DiamondW welded the pin over the top of it. The hole looks funky in the pic because that’s where the pelfreybilt “P” was.

Thanks! I was going to use tabs at either end of the pin to mount it to get enough space for the latch to operate. The way you did it lets it sit a little more flush to the bumper.
