Very nearly done with garage 3.0. I still need to move the overhead storage rack and move the camper to the other side but I think I'll put that off until the next time I put the camper on the truck to make things easier.

Anyway, got to see the top of the new workbench today, that was a bit of a victory

    C6FB89AB-D24D-4978-A89E-B5E853C4F321.jpg

Tomorrow I'll start on installing the rock lights. I might do the F35 cockpit lighting I've been putting off if I finish that which means I may as well start on the massive wiring overhaul I've also been putting off.
I ordered the CB I've been putting off as well, that should be here later this week, I'll get that installed next week I think.
I also ordered a 13/16 tap and 3/4 drill bit for the crawl box temp gauge. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to drilling out the drain plug but since the thing pisses out gear oil randomly it's the best method I could come up with to monitor the oil level and overall health of the crawl box.

What else, what else? I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Anyway, San Antonio is officially under a "Shelter in Place" order. We can only leave or homes to go to the grocery store or the hospital.

The wif has been working from home, which she says is worse than working at work, so I've been staying busy in the garage. Hopefully they don't shut down Amazon or the mail otherwise I very well may die of boredom.

I got half the garage cleaned up Saturday and just couldn’t make myself tackle the other half Sunday. Well, yesterday at work they cut my hours to 2 day’s a week but I still have health insurance for now. I have plenty of time for garage now. Plenty of other chores I can get done as well but it will run out. 1 mod left for truck to fab up the cross tube for the hammer hangers. I have the materials already I’ll get that done when I finish up some of these other jobs.

I hear that cross tube makes a big difference in how the truck handles. How do you like the hangars?

Only installed a couple weekends ago so no off road yet. On road they reall seem to stiffen the truck up, not translating into a stiffer ride the whole truck just feels tighter. Much less vibrations also

Sounds like a good improvement to me. Those hammer hangers and cross tube are going to be next for me.

I dint do any kinda rock crawling or anything. My main reason to install them wa towing the tiny camper and especially when we get to tow it down fire roads and trails. Only provided a small amount of lift which was good for me. Did provide more clear it seems. I put Polly bushings in the oem shackles paired with Deavers stage 3’s

Nah, ammo is pretty much sold out everywhere or twice normal cost. I've been supplementing with dry-fire.
