    lol I hear ya

If I was single that's the way I would go. 2500 sqft of house upstairs, 2500 sqft of garage/shop downstairs, 1000 sqft of patio/balcony too! If I don't go the bus route that's the goal I will work towards.

24x30' sounds like a good size. I think 20x24, sounds like you might end up getting a bit cramped. I also like the doors on the front and rear corner idea. Makes it easy to get toys and things in and out without having to move a vehicle.

    Nice

Just chilling on the couch watching Breaking Bad again, still drinking my Shiners. @Oldie2007 topped me off earlier this afternoon when he came to get some of my old junk.

I'm hoping that bit and the tap come in tomorrow so I can finish the crawl box temp gauge. I got it installed today since I had the day apart. I got the probe with the heat gun to make sure it was functional since I got it used off eBay

And that's the best thing that's ever been in that 4wd knob hole lol

It fits pretty well. What is your plan for cleaning up that switch hole?

Btw, that new ADD switch got me back into fully functioning 4x4

I had the seats out while I installed the rock lights so I also vacuumed under them, fuck that was filthy! I also washed the seats and floorboards again

Still getting a lot of dirt out of them

I'll probably leave it as is. It's not a very big gap around the gauge, maybe 1/16" all the way around. I think I want to pull the wrap off and just run it factory black again though.

Glad to hear you got the 4x4 working again!

I've been waiting on the rain to clear to begin repairs/maintenance.

So far I've replaced the LCAs and LCA hardware, passenger inner tie rod and ADD (4x4 actuator). I need to replace my passenger wheel speed sensor asked I'll pick that up at Toyota tomorrow. These things I destroyed last wheeling trip.

Maintenance wise, I've completed all 30k mile maintenance requirements, minus oil change and tire rotation. I have the stuff for the oil change, but I just haven't done it yet. I get free rotations and balance from Discount Tire, so I'll have them do it.

I swapped out my engine air filter for a K&N and ordered a bowl-type pre-filter like yours (I think lol) to help keep the K&N cleaner.

I don't know if you do know, but I also have a Tom Woods Custom one-piece driveshaft now, too.

That reminds me, I need to do my lower ball joints so I'll probably just do the entire LCA. Seems easier that way.

Are your traction control lights on? Mine came on last trip out to HF, flashing the VSC computer fixed it. I've got a spare passenger wheel speed sensor if the dealership doesn't have one on hand for ya.

    Dang 30k miles. It's still a baby!

I saw you got a one-piece! I'm jelly, I still want to go to a one-piece. Eventually. If anyone could do it right it's Woods. Notice anything different as far as driveline vibes? Better? Worse? No change?

I restart the service intervals at 100k; it's at 129769 miles right now.

Driveline revs smoother with the one-piece, but Tom Woods doesn't guarantee improved driveability. In my case it's smoother.

My VSC and ABS lights are both on. Tired resetting the VSC today, no go. Went to the dealer (service manager hooks me up to scan tools, free of charge, for random stuff), VSC and ABS wouldn't reset and it kept throwing a passenger front wheel speed sensor code. I figured I broke it doing the inner tie rod.

Ahhhh ok, that makes sense. 130k, it's a teenager

That's good to hear. My take-off vibrations are about the same with the shortened shaft. The extra sticks make that kind of annoying. The hi/lo shifter will bounce off the trim sometimes. The carrier bearing has more play than it should though so I know that's part of it.

Yea if you're getting the code it's broken. My dumb ass had the wrong dust cover on the wrong side of the CV axle and I broke the sensor putting the axle back in when I did the FJ tube. Derp. Cheap, easy fix though.

lol yea, the intermediate shaft is really short. I'll have to get a pic. The dude that chopped and stretched my shafts said it would be the best way to go as far as balancing goes.

I was moving my disconnected spindle all over the place and I think I pulled the wires a little out of the sensor. At first the light would blink and go off, then it just stayed solid.

Yeah, i figured that's what it was. I showed up to Toyota and was joking with the service manager that I'm pretty sure my wheel speed sensor is trashed... Five minutes later he agreed and we laughed.

No, but AutoZone has a free one that I can clear codes with and I'm friendly with my local Toyota dealer's parts department and service department.

My grandmother got me a code reader for Christmas a few years back. It's pretty cool, it just stays plugged into the port and it connects to your phone via Bluetooth.

    Here's a screenshot from it
