Weird. I agree, Bosch is really good, seeing as how they patented K-lambda, k-jetronic, and other forefathers of modern fuel injection.

Any artillery units near you? I used to nap on my dad's porch listening to arty doing gunnery dozens of miles out. I can hear 'em at my house while they shoot at Hood, too.

Nah not around here but there's something big moving around South of me. Now it's a constant low rumble like an approaching Blackhawk. Thing is, I live just south of Stinson's controlled airspace and I bring students out this way all the time for maneuvers. There's nothing but fields and farms for the most part. Unless they put down new tracks since I've gotten out here and this is the first time they're using them.

Hadn't checked. But it all started immediately after the clutch shop fucked everything up. Wouldn't hurt to swap it out though, I guess.

Wonder if you're hearing bigger than normal freight trains bringing cargo. Regulations are being lifted for all sorts of transportation to keep the supply chain going.

Maybe the clutch is too grippy and choking the engine lol.

    Nah, that's stupid lol

It's in consideration because even the branches are combining personnel and units into localised, independent, fighting units. Nothing is set in stone, though.

I'm convinced it's a train but in the five years we've been here we've never heard one. I can FEEL this one. I'm wondering if it's new tracks.

    Probably a heavily-loaded, worn-out freight train.

K so that sucked every bit as much as I imagined.

I'm a damn idiot. All that to satisfy my curiosity.

Drilling a 3/4" hole in the drain plug of your crawl box is not fucking fun. And it's a total pain in the ass. But it's done. The tap cut the soft aluminum like a fresh razorblade through an emo. The threads looked good and clean and the probe snugged up as good as I could have hoped for.

But you could not pay me enough to do that again. Fucking hell, no.

Got some good news on a GS-11 Govvie job I applied for. They accepted my application, logbook, and certs and the hiring manager will be calling me soon. Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully I survive the hiring process.

Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for ya. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was turn down A dod job at my dream facility cause it didn’t pay enough.
