My big problem is height. The position of all the shifters is fine, but with the body lift they sit too far down in the shifter opening to get a proper boot on there.

That was another thing I wanted to get your opinion on...in looking at the boot you had made, it seemed like there was a lot more material for the 3 tcase and crawler shifters than was really needed. They were as long as the trans shifter. What are your thoughts on making those shorter so there's less material to push down in there?

I gotcha, I forgot you had the body lift. I'd just weld bolts to the existing shifters at the height you want.

The shifters have a lot of throw, specifically the crawl box and the H/L knobs. All the material at the bottom of the knobs is necessary. When shifted forward the material stretches out.

That's actually a problem I've been trying to solve. Whenever I shift one of the other sticks it pulls the boot off of the trim from the inside. I haven't found a way to resolve that yet.

Really appreciate the pics and advice. That's really helpful...welding a bolt on the end would probably be much easier. Guess I ought to pull the trigger on matching knobs so I know the thread size I need.

The knobs that came with the RADesigns shifter and the crawl box are all the same thread and pitch, if that's helpful. I just took one of the knobs to Lowe's and got the longest bolts they had that fit.

I dunno, I can't seem to get the crawl box to stop leaking. I got she rubber gasket material, next week I'll try to muster up the motivation to pull it all down... For the fourth time... Break it all apart.... Again... And, fingers crossed, slow down, if not stop, the leaking.

Fly? Bad timing I guess. I crashed in the middle of December and didn't get cleared to fly again until the middle of February. By then things were already slowing down because of the 'Rona. A week and a half of part-time work later, we're fully shut down. I'm looking forward to flying again, we've got rice coming up in June? But, honestly, I'm not too excited about flying Robby's again. It was a manufacturers defect that caused it all. 1) I didn't find out it was a thing until after the crash and 2) the manufacturer knows about it and isn't doing anything about it because no one has been killed by it yet. Completely shitty in their part. They've lost what trust I had for their product.

    Whud up, Josh?
