You already know what I think. Go with the plan - because it's not everywhere else. AND, you can always change it....

Do it! Let it settle on you for some months. Because it's "unmistakable!"

I still have my old grille, because no one wants it. But I like my one of a kind fake raptor more and more.

After a bunch of crinkle, I cannot confidently recommend Rust-Oleum. Stick with Krylon if you can find the color you want.

Latest bout of crinkle. The paint was hard and dry and as soon as I got it with clear coat, freaking crinkle.

Going to need to buy more sandpaper...

Snorkel, FJ ATRAC switch, rock lights ordered.

    Alright.

I'm fucking done with this shit.

Rustoleum is hands down the worst paint I've ever used. I sanded The paint from 320 up to 1000 to make it smooth as glass for the final coat of paint. Prepped with alcohol, adapted to the outside air temp, no moisture, the previous coat was hardened.

Here it was last night before I sanded this afternoon.

    EAEE3FAD-4856-45ED-8AE4-83881E184BE4.jpg

Here it was immediately after I painted.

    upload_2019-3-27_21-28-42.jpg

    I quit.

@RockHed said it best, in short, it wasn't meant to be.

I'm going to sand it down to plastic and paint it gloss black. I'll deep dish Satoshi it later with orange between the outer trim and the mesh.

Ain't worried about it. Seven beers in and jamming to my wife playing guitar while I clean the garage.

They're really bright! And they Bluetooth to your phone. They're RGB so they do 256 colors.

I'd have gone for "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", but I am old. And you are a lucky guy. Tell her I love teachers and give her a hug!

One of my all time favorites. I'm also a really big fan of Eleanor Rigsby, A Day in the Life, anything from Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or the Magical Mystery Tour.

I was in Jazz Band for 6 years. I'm a huge music nerd.

Sure did! They work to at least 20ft just fine. Dunno why the app has such low ratings :notsure:
