    Haha yep
I heard one of our controllers vector a guy to the far south of the delta and had him circle for at least 10 minutes.

    Lol that's funny
    I'd do it too

Today the rotating beacon was on when I went for the first flight. It was clear blue in every direction so I let Tower know. They said they were doing maintenance on it. I requested special from our hangar to the center grassy area where our students practice maneuvers

    :anonymous::devil:

It was dead and one of my favorite controllers.

Man... do you know how mad I get when my student just breaths on the radio for 6-9 secs... after I literally told him exactly what to say... fuck! I feel all of your pain and am glad i have never been violated...

    Sorry to barge in...

My favorite was when a student asked the controller to speak slower when she had repeated our clearance for the 3rd time... I almost started crying, it hurt so bad to laugh

    I feel ya

How about when they put the mic just a hair high so every exhale is right in your damn ear? I get that on tours all the time.

    lol woops

    Ummm

    Wanna go to Moab?

I'm trying to go again this next spring break.

Ha yeah... we wear an oxygen mask so, i have just become numb to the darth vader breathing that is constant in the plane.

And maybe? My wife is due in Feb, so I probably wont be able to go with a baby... but its all good man. It looks like your trip awesome though!

That drives me nuts. On tours I can only politely suggest they move it. What kills me is I plug music in to the comm panel. The panel automatically reduces the music volume by half when the mic picks up noise/voice or when someone talks on the radio. So when they exhale the volume drops, inhale the music comes back, exhale the music drops, inhale the music comes back, over and over and over. It's tolerable on short flights. But on the half hour plus flights I just want to scream at them or slap the mic out of their nose.

Congratulations, man! Didn't know you two were expecting! Yeah, don't sweat jumping in on the trip in March, you'll be busy with the baby and helping the missus. The will always be another one and there's always room at our camp for whoever wants to join in.

Been on any good trails lately? How's the new duty station treating you?

    Edit:spelling

Straight serial killer. But one that slowly builds the trust of their victim. Maybe even dates them for a few months before they disappear. It's a love stab.
