    Hello all,

Finally got around to documenting and pricing all the upgrades on my recently purchased 3rd gen.

I was originally lookingto get a TRD OR over a Sport. this truck was super clean and had a ton of upgrades. So I decided it shouldn’t be a deal breaker for the locking diff and crawl control.

Purchased at a local Toyota Dealership.

2018 Tacoma TRD Sport with 44,000 miles

    $34,236 + taxes,fees.

I did opt in for a bumper to bumper warranty that’s good for +6 years/+70k miles. Cost $2,300. It felt like good piece of mind and it will take me to 114,000 miles.

List of mods below with what I could find for current pricing including shipping and tax. To recreate with new parts it totals out right at $14,070

I feel like I did pretty well, it seemed to be priced right at average market value. Someone dumped lots of $$ into this and I’m glad it wasn’t me. Tastefully upgraded with the exception of the front suspension and rear shocks, but that is getting replaced.

Thoughts? Curious on pricing in the rest of the country.

Why would you need rock sliders if your Sport does not have a diff locker(s)?

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Good luck with the truck.

Is the warranty genuine Toyota or aftermarket? Toyota Platinum can be had for a good bit less via a Midwest dealer you can find here on the forum

All that matters with the other stuff is that you like it

I think the confusion might be that your post can be misinterpreted to read as a list of upgrades & MODs you are wanting to purchase as that is typically what we see here.

It’s Toyota backed, Platinum Plus. If it was aftermarket I would have passed. Free oil changes too if I keep up with all recommended maintenance.

Here’s a garage photo. Could use a couple of front tires, but it gives me an excuse for a new set.

I'd research here and find the name where folks get a good deal on that warranty and give them a call.

You 'may' be able to cancel yours with refund and rebuy same at lower cost. A few minutes of your time could save you some real bucks.

If that doesn't work youve only lost a little time.

    Good luck!!

I bought mine in Greenville brand new for a little less. We have nearly identical mileage however mine is mostly stock. It's amazing how these hold their value. Congratulations on your purchase.
