Ford has the Raptor and Ram has the Rebel. Wouldn't it be nice if Toyota made a midsize truck on steroids? Maybe drop a 5.0 V8 in it, front and rear lockers.

BTW i wish i purchased the 2016 Rebel instead of my 2016 TRD OR, not that i don't like my Taco.

I suspect the 4th gen tacos will be a little bigger, body style wise. Each Gen seems to get a little bigger....to my eyes anyway. I'm sure someone will post measurements and a meme and GIF, lol.

I wouldn't expect the Taco to get bigger unless they stop making the Tundra.

I can't imagine Toyota exploring heavy duty territory with a "sooper dooper diesel" Tundra but then again you never know. We'll see how the Titan does with its oil burner.

Raptors don't even sport a V8 unless you have the last gen. And I would never consider a new gen dodge. Fiat quality and styled by a highschool student who works at Pepboys.

If Toyota were attempting to compete with the Raptor they would do it with the Tundra platform...not the Tacoma.

because the aesthetics of a 3g tacoma are much better? It looks like the bro crowd wanted an Impreza pickup... and Toyota answered, "bro bro bro, bros."
