you will have two kinds of spacers, ones that go on top of your pre existing coilovers and then spacers that will go "in" your coils. I had the toytec spacers lift and it came with a 1/2" top plate spacer and a 2 1/2" spacer that went In the coil. It was a pretty stiff ride, very solid parts and had no issues with it, but stiff. some people say they like it but after a year of that I switched to Fox coils and its night and day difference.
I Would recomend going with the billys like everyone was saying. Happy modding!

negative, the fox adjustable coilovers take the place of any spacer. or any adjustable coilover will do that too

oh I see , sorry about that there , I'm just don't know much about this here . I just hope that I can find the Billys when I am ready for them . Now with the Billy's all the way around , I know the front is adjustable but does it give the back lift too ?

    Toyota's are awesome
    Keason1* explained it well.
There are two different kinds of spacers. One that pre-loads your coil (goes in with the spring) or a spacer that goes just on top (shoving the entire coil over down).

The later design is usually the one's that cause more problems due to over extending the coil over, ball joints, and cv's.

We haven't seen that type of out come with our spacer, which goes in with the coil.

    Make any more sense?

Some people claim that our spacers make the ride too stiff. Just remember, options are just that. Everyone has their own expectation of what they feel is 'right'. We have MANY, MANY spacer lift owners that think their ride is great, not to stiff. All to say, it's a matter of personal opinion. :)

4" Camburg Race Spindles and Icon 2.5" ext travel Coilovers in the front for about 5"of lift and for the rear All-Pro 3" leaf pack and Fox 2.0 Resi's converted to piggyback and custom valved by DownSouth Motorsports. 17x9" KMC XD Addicts w/ 4.5 inch Backspacing and -12 Offset. Wrangler Duratracs 285/70/17. K&N CAI, Exhaust, Carriage Works Billet Grill, Custom Bed bar with ProComp fog lights,DirtKing Fabrication front bumper w/ 3 HID converted Hellas, Demello rear PreRunner bumper, Tinted windows, Full System w/ 2 10s, Garmin 265WT, ClearHLM. Theres more I just cant think of it right now.

I have had this kit for the last 2.5 years. For the money it is a great option. I've beat the hell out of my truck running this setup. The ride is "Stiff" but I expected that when I bought it. I was on a budget and the price was right. You WILL need a spring compressor to intall. I did the install by myself in my apartment carport with hand tools. But for me the type of off-roading I am into, I will be upgrading to Long Travel in the near future. But overall I have been happy with the Toytec kit.
I would recommend if you have the money, Get some real coilovers( Fox, King, Sway-a-Way, Icon). They will give you the lift, perfomance and the ride you are looking for. And buy the add-a-leaf for the rear with some 5100's. Im sure you will be most happy. Good luck and I hope this helps. Take care.

Yes that makes more sense. So my truck will be safe with one of your spacer lifts?
