This just shows how the NBA is a joke. The guy can't play anymore but can magically put together a 60 pt night. That was unheard-of years ago.

Gimme a break. All the sports do that. Are they a joke, as well? Who was that guy who got the sack record one game when Brett Favre practically fell down right in front of him? Or baseball, when a pitcher serves up a fat one so the retiring superstar gets a hit in his last at bat. In some cases its just giving the fans what they want to honor the superstar for all the years of service to the team, and the fans.

Curry did not play due to injury from Game 1. Warriors win hard fought game.

Without Curry, for the second straight game, the Warriors CHOKE! Numerous opportunites to win but Thompson, Green, Iguadola, Bogut, all sucked. Houston buried them in the 1st quarter and GS could not dig out of the hole.

Very costly win for the Warriors. Curry came back, only to slip on a bunch of sweat at mid court, fell, and bruised/sprained his right knee. An MRI will be performed once the team returns to Oakland. Tied up at half, the Warriors, without Curry, hammered the Rockets 41-20 in the third quarter. Ran away with the win in convincing fashion. Now the anxiety builds until the MRI results come in, probably late tomorrow.

Damn. Out two weeks. At least. What a lousy deal. Total fluke accident. Really sucks given all the team has done this year.

 

Warriors lower the BOOM on Houston. Win by 30. Take the Series 4-1. The next Series will be much tougher against Portland. The Clippers are probably done without Paul and Griffin. If the Warriors can continue to play as well as they did last night, then they have a shot at winning this next Series without Curry. If they make it to the Conference Finals, they will need him.

Amazing comeback by the Warriors. Down double digits in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters with Portland shooting 50% it appeared that they might lose at home, giving the Blazers home court advantage. But the Warriors pulled off a great 4th quarter outscoring Portland in the final minutes 28-8. Turning an eleven point deficit into an eleven point win. Lillard, who torched the Warriors in the 1st half, did not score in the 4th. Gut check win for Golden State. Game 3 in Portland will not be until Saturday night. Possibility Steph Curry plays. We shall see.

Didn't think the Warriors could get over the hump, home court was big tonight

 

Warriors did themselves in. Turnovers. Poor shooting. Crappy refs. Ghost foul calls. Freaking terrible. But, Portland took it to them, and they couldn't answer. Lillard was hot.
