Well, that was one ugly ass loss. Grizzlies made a great effort, and baffled the Warriors from the opening tip.

That game was ugly!! Refs missed a lot of calls... but it's all good.. still early in the season.

 

Missed some games. The Warriors stretched their NBA-record streak of consecutive games without back-to-back losses to 111 games after defeating the Timberwolves 116-108 on Sunday night. Facing a 10-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, Golden State outscored Minnesota 38-20 in the final frame to complete the thrilling comeback victory.

Warriors are currently ranked Number 1 in the NBA in Points, Assists, Blocks, and Steals.

Warriors eeked out a win in New Orleans. Pelicans have a crappy record, but you couldn't tell by how they played tonight. It was a dogfight all the way. Pelicans played out of their minds.

Warriors take on the Knicks. Handled them fairly well. They still have a lot to work out on defense, and playing together, what with all the new faces.

The Warriors controlled the game from start to finish on Saturday, and picked up a 135-90 victory over the Trail Blazers at Oracle.

First 6 minutes of the 1st Quarter both teams tried to out piss poor shot each other. Then in the next three quarters the Warriors pounded the Jazz. Big game Christmas day against the Cavs.

Draymond Green returned to the Bay Area on Thursday to welcome his new baby boy.

Son Draymond Jamal Green Jr. was born at 3:55 a.m. Thursday, the Warriors said, and his father was set to miss Golden State's game Thursday at Brooklyn. His status for Friday's matchup at Detroit and Sunday at Cleveland was still to be determined.

Green leads Golden State in rebounds (8.8), assists (7.2) and steals (2.3) while averaging 10.6 points.

 

Warriors squeaked out another one. This time in Detroit. They better have a better plan for Cleveland on Sunday.

Warriors up by 14 at one point. Cleveland rarely ahead. Warriors played some semi crappy D down the stretch. Officiating sucks badly. Warriors lose by one. They did it to themselves with bad decisions at the end. Oh, and Fuck Cleveland.

Statistically, the NBA's top two offenses clashed tonight. Warriors up by 20 over Toronto on several occasions, but still managed to nearly throw away another game. Prevail down the stretch.

Warriors start the new year with a win over Denver, 127-119. Defense was in short supply.

Even with Damian Lillard on the bench with an ankle injury, the Trail Blazers were blazing in the first half. The Warriors scored 69 points in the first half. But Portland scored 71. Both teams were on fire. Very fast paced. Defense was absent, you might think, but mostly it was guys shooting out of their minds. Warriors clamped down defensively in the second half and prevailed 125-117.

Unbelievable. Warriors lead by 24 until a monumental collapse in the 4th quarter! In the fourth quarter the Warriors made exactly TWO field goals. Not a typo. Two field goals by Curry and a smattering of Free Throws allowed the Grizzlies to tied the game, and send it to overtime. Warriors struggles continued, and the game was lost. Flat out bizarre. Grizzlies defense was mauling. In fact, with 7.4 seconds left, the Warriors tried to inbound the ball to Curry for an opportunity to win the game, but he was mauled, and was unable to free himself until there were only a couple seconds left. threw up a prayer, but no answer. No excuses, though. two field goals in an entire quarter. Wow.

Warriors down 16 to Sacramento. Sacramento? They eventually put the hammer down and win 117-106. The team still has much to work out to get where they need to be to beat the big dogs.

The Warriors outlasted the Heat and came away with a 107-95 home victory over Miami on Tuesday night, without Klay Thompson. The Dubs trailed at the end of each of the first two quarters but used a stout defensive performance in the second half to come away with the win. Kevin Durant led Golden State with 28 points, while Stephen Curry filled the stat sheet with 24 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
