Comparing these warriors with those bulls isn't even right. The bulls played when teams played defense. Players prided themselves on winning, not personal accomplishments and padding stats. Players weren't teaming up under max contracts to make "big 3's". And teams were intentionally tanking like seeing admit to today. The game is very different. No defense, no contact. Totally pussified. Apples and oranges really and unless you're a GS fan boy you'll agree those bulld would walk all over the Warriors.

 

Really? What a crock. Records were meant to be broken. The Warriors are playing within the confines of the rules, and how the game is played today. They are the epitome of 'TEAM" play. Unselfish to a fault. They are a deep team. They play both ends of the court. They had the #1 defense last year, and are in the top tier of the league defensively, this year. As for contact, all I can say is, 'what games are you watching'? You entire claim is bullshit. You should just go have a seat in the corner, with Pippen, and cry in your beers.

I agree partially with both of you but it's just a different time and a different set a rules. Im not knocking was GS has done and still may do on wednesday beacsue thats an awesome feat, but I don't think that theyre on the same level as the Bulls were. Granted I wasnt even alive but I've watched enough games of that time (and not only of the bulls) and plenty of games with todays rules to pretty confidently say that the Bulls would win a series, no competition. No matter which set of rules you play under, Bulls have em. If youre playing under the mid 90s rules, the bulls defense strangles GS. And in toadys rules, people are saying that the defense literally cant touch offenses so Curry would flourish. But if MJ can play like that while getting "fouled" by todays standards, imagine how many points he'd put up in one of todays games. Bulls in 5.

 

Another Barkley/Pippen disciple heard from. But, as this matchup will never happen, everyone can speculate. That's the beauty of it.
