I was wondering and had a modification idea. I have a 2009 Tacoma V6 and was wondering what anyone thought about 2 K&N filters...........one in the airbox and then removing the charcoal filter and putting the 2nd one in place of the charcoal filter? Bad idea? Good idea?
I have never tried those other filters that are dry( or whatever they're called). Just trying to get more airflow. I do think how Toyota designed the air intake is A CIA, but just want to get more airflow and some mpg's.
If not K&N filters, which of the dry filters does anyone recommend? I also thought, maybe a K&N in the box and a dry filter for the charcoal filter, might help absorb the K&N oils.
I also thought about using that quick seal or whatever were the guy glues the boat out of glass and puts it on the water and rides in it. Is that sensor safe?
Any help would be appreciated and thanks.

If you add air, the ECU will add fuel. Correct? Also, K&N air filters have been know create havoc with Mass Air Flow Sensors...Just food for thought.
