I find that driving in "S5" and "ECT" is very similar to driving my wife's 2015 TRD Off Road with the 4.0 engine and 5 speed auto when it is in "D". Plus "S5" and "ECT" adds great high RPM acceleration compared to the 2015's 4.0 and 5 speed auto. The automatic transmission in my 2018 TRD Sport is the most erratic shifting transmission compared to the transmissions of any vehicle that I have ever owned in my sixty years of driving...and this is truth, not senility speaking.
