Do you use the Aux jack then? I was looking at your pictures to see if you showed how you did it and only saw the one. Looked like you just ran the chord out the corner of the center box. Part of the problem with that for me is that my ipod power chord has an aux jack on its connection so that you get the best sound quality. (if you use the headphone jack on the top of the ipod, its amplified and distorted. If you use a USB or jack into the bottom, the amplification and equalizer are neutralized, etc. Im sure you knew that...)

Hmm...Ill have to look at everyones pictures and mounts. I frequently need to take mine out of the car so I need something relatively hand that way. I also use the stock JBL, so changing songs etc. through the dash is not an option right now...I need to be able to use the ipod interface.

I have an 07 and I don't have an Aux jack.

I'm using the ipod2car unit that plugs into the external CD port on the back of the stock head unit.

DMB did you get that grommet at a hardware store or something? Im thinking about doing the exact same thing that you have done. Looks FAR better than the cable jungle Im running right now. Also Id love to see the ipod text on the stock radio and have steering wheel controls.

What do you think of the PA15-TOY now that you have used it for awhile?

I really like the finish out on your design, although there is one thing I do not like about this design though. It would require me to take my Ipod out from its location on the console and put it out of site (glove box) or risk having someone smash my window for an ipod.

Too bad.... you store all your CD's in your truck and put CD's in the radio and take 'em out. Too much physical labor for me. (J/K);)

When I used CDs on my vehicle they were copies and the originals were at home in their cases, with time some develop defects that rendered useless so I made new copies and replaced them as needed.

With the Ipod I don't need to carry around CDs and don't need to deal with CD magazines reloads for a CD changer.

Yeah I got the grommets at Lowes, next to the bolt/screw section. I still love this adapter. Since I use mine in direct-mode I don't see the Song/Artist name in the stereo display. I see the track number or something. But it's no biggy.
