It’s like petting a cat behind the ears and he/she starts to purr...

I’m holding on to mine so I can return the principal and make the interest payments due for the rest of my life and my grand children's.

Exactly. They needed to reduce the max qualifying household income by half and then you can start talking about NEED. Just wait till all our taxes start to creep up.

I just popped in here to see how many people threw in the subtle humble brag comments.

I’m always last to get it, so by the time I’ve gotten it, probably just fuel.

Truck related: Paying off my Tacoma 7 months early (~$1,300)

^ then I'm going to stick it to the man, by using the money he "Gave" me to pay him my bi-annual personal property tax (~$900)... Try and wrap you head around that.... the government is borrowing money to give it to me, then I can pay them their taxes and then in one way or another we will all be paying the 1.9T back for basically all eternity. o_O

Balance goes into savings for the next crisis (Dishwasher, furnace... its only a matter of time)

I would LOVE some new bumpers or lights, but I know that's not going to happen

I don't need to be rescued. We don't need to rescued, but the banks need to be. When all those trillions get released, they always end up in a bank, one way or another. And when all those loans, rents, retails stores etc go bust, the banks won't because that cash flow money will be there or so it is thought by the MMT.

We should start a “I’m a curmudgeon, and I don’t like that you get to buy truck stuff with your stimulus if you want” thread.

Maybe. Still, no need to hijack the thread and party poop.
