Same, I made a post during the first round of checks and made a joke about thanking the government for buying my new lift and tires. It also became political.

True story: Back in like 1996 I got really into MTG. Got lots and lots of cards. Later in life after "growing up" and moving, I was living somewhere that I didn't have any friends who played MTG. I was busy with family and career and didn't do that kind of thing much anymore anyway, so I GAVE THEM ALL TO GOODWILL. I cringe when I think about that.

Hold off on paying off that student loan. The current government might pay that off as well eventually. Money is flying out of Washington.

Stuck it in savings for now, gonna put it towards a honeymoon later this year.

Getting a nice tax refund this year thanks to an education credit for going back to school, hopefully that + profit sharing is enough to remodel the downstairs bathroom.

Which is crazy. You can choose to go to the cheap community college or the private university. Just like you can save and buy what you want or load up credit cards. Stop saving people from their choices, good or bad.

I really enjoyed my first two years before my parents called bullshit and I had to go to work. Changed my major to something marketable and got my degree by going to school in the evenings while working full time. That was not nearly as fun.

    Good for you Itchster.
