How bad does MGM show scratch (at a distance) compared to CSM and Black

So this has probally been asked before a million times (delete if not allowed), but i couldnt find a good answer beyond more than white less than black so i figured i would be more direct in my question.

Basically, i am in the process of looking for my next truck with the goal of having it 10+ years, and want the paint to hold up as long as possible. I do not care about dirt/dust showing that much, as i frequent gravel roads and in winter here (northern maine), every car gets dirty. However, i do want the truck to be able to “clean up nice” when i want it to, and part of that is having its paint be able to hide minor scratches fairly well when washed and waxed, and to be able to somewhat cover any major scratches easy with touch up paint (to the point where theyre not noticeable at a large distance, im fine id the scratches / touched up spots show when your only a few feet away). I currently drive a metallic navy blue silverado from 2010 for reference and find that to clean up nice from all the pinstriping from local logging roads (they never go away, but you dont see it once your 10ish feet away once waxed).

Obviously the CSM would be the best color for this, but I am partial to the MGM (not big on light silver, if CSM was a tad darker i would go with it, would also go white but dont want the flaking), and am curious if anyone knows how good the MGM hides scratches/swirl marks/ etc compared to the CSM or a black truck. Basically is it only a little better than black, and alot worse than CSM, closer to CSM, or pretty much smack dab in the middle?

Silver is worst for touch up.
    Metallic gray is next.

White and other non metallics is best for touch up.

Black touches up well but sucks at scratches and dust and dirt.

    I have had all colors.

I had a 2nd gen MGM. Not much better then black for hiding scratches. CSM is your best choice for that. But as hiPSI states CSM, and MGM horrible on touch ups. You can never get flake to lay same as factory paint. Don't know on Lunar rock, but guessing not bad, not much different than cement. I have cement and it hides scratches well.

I had a MGM 4runner and it would get a new scratch if you just looked at it too hard. It’s one of the hardest colors I’ve ever had on a vehicle to keep looking nice. Not much better if at all than black.

I’ve pin stripped both sides of my MGM colored truck and did my best to remove the scratches but if you get close enough to open the door you can see all the scratches from the headlights to the tail lights.

If you properly wash and maintain the paint it's not going to make a ton of difference what color you choose. Most touch up paint doesn't match. Even body work will never be 100%.

I've had my MGM for 6.5 years and it's really good at hiding dust. I had black on my last TRD 4Runner. It was a royal pain to keep clean, but looked awesome when it was. MGM is almost as slick looking, but a ton less work to keep clean. I'd recommend MGM for looks and relatively low maintenance.

White paint will yellow over time and look terrible when driven in the rain. I hate silver; it's cold, industrial and plain. A positive about silver is it shows off vehicle lines and design very well.

Yeah i used to drive a black car, and hated the upkeep needed to look nice. Currently i drive a deep navy chevy, and while scratches show, i find minor ones are easily covered with wax, and deeper ones are easy enough to touch up to where they are not easily seen from a distance (although easily seen closer, see below, i hosed off around one of the scratches near the front of the bed), even with non matching touchup paint. My dislike for silver leans me towards wanting MGM, although i dont want it showing every little scratch. If its similar to what i currently have then i could honestly care less.
