Got too ambitious. Stuck in da mud. And water. Exhaust pipe is under...how bad can it be?

put on your oldest rattiest clothes and go under your truck on a creeper with a hose and rinse everything clean.

Check the mudline on the rear differential. If you completely submerged it, and haven't done a diff-breather mod you should probably change the rear differential oil.

Then, if you didn't have water intrusion into the cab and the carpets weren't wet - I'd say you're good.

as long as you didnt shut the truck off while the tail pipe was under water, and your diff didnt get water in it, you should just need to give it a bath

EDIT: someone beat me to it

Other than the rear diff breather under water, it'll be fine. Now if you had to crawl out of the window, id say differently! :D

and its underwater.....so you will need to change the fluid out.

Ya know.....it might not be under now that I look harder....either way...change it.

On top of the rear differential. It's a little metal nub that threads into the top of the diff.

It's on the top of the rear diff. Looks like a large valve stem cap....kinda.

Dude, start rockin that shit, sawing the wheel back and forth, keep your left foot on the brake a bit while you goose it and get that truck outta there. One or all should do it. Get some stones or pieces of wood, tree, branches under the tire that's spinning.
Then, next time,go with a buddy and a tow strap, some better tires and some better skills.

No, it's a picture from inside the cab. The mud/water is below the doors.
