Just changed out the air intake hose and found an alarming amount of oil in it where it connects to the intake.
The hose at the top, rear of intake hose also had oil. I think it is from my PCV? Will change out PCV but wanted to know if I should be worried about more severe engine issues?

that's pretty standard as blow back. unless there's globs or it's dripping oil, i wouldn't worry about it.

there was a "discussion" *cough* @Caligula *cough* regarding oil entering the throttle body in this post you may want to read up on it.

I had the same issue, oil blowback going into my air intake. I used some oil additives and it cleared it up. My issue could be different though. Use AT-205 and/or Zmax. Both are micro oil lubes that soak into everything, lubes and rejuvinates everything your oil gets into. Also helps clean off gunk. Worked for me. At-205 is more for seals and Zmax soaks into the metals. Try not to use then at the same time though. At least wait a little while between them.

I just used a compressor filter and it works great! Been on for years with no problems.

Not my pic but you get the idea.

Not mine but I have about the same amount of oil. It's been on about 50k and with the S/C I didn't want that going through it. Now with the water/meth injection I don't worry
about it since it cleans all the intake tract when it's spraying!
