This question has probably been asked many times so sorry for a duplicate thread if it is one but my search box on my phone is funky, I was wondering how big my tire could get before I need a leveling kit. Im looking at 275/70/16. Will this fit or no? NTB wasnt very helpful. Oh and theyre BFG All-Terrains if that makes a differnce

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
It all depends on how much you want to cut. You can fit 35's on a stock truck if you really wanted to. Going bigger then stock does require some trimming if you really use your suspension. A 275/70/16 will require some trimming if you want to get full bump travel.

How much trimming do you want to do? Can go as tall of a tire as you want to, just gotta cut out whatever is in the way...widths depend on wheel choice...

Well if I kept the stock rim, 275/70/16 would I have to cut any? That's only 30 mm more than I have now but 15 for both sides.

Be awfully close to the upper control arm, might rub there...fenders are prob ok

That is also an odd tire size, think of availability if replacements are needed, ie: out in the boonies
