This that and the other thing.
I got some stick on square things that are meant to run zip ties through, stuck them to the rubber trim on my roof and they are holding up well so far. I was getting some rattling against the paint so I ended up sticking some foam tape on the ones that were making contact. no damage yet, and even if it rubs a bit, its on the roof so I'm not overly worried haha the best solution would be to buy a Prinsu roof rack lol but I want one of those anyways haha

No problem. If your light string has the lights too close to the plug I found it works best to just pit a piece of black electrical tape over those so it doesn't look all wonky. You could probably wire in a small wreath on the front grill for a little extra. May want to keep it simple this year and if you want to go all out wait until next year. There is a thread for Christmas lights on here somewhere .. you might skim through it and see a few ideas. Have a Merry Christmas.

Starting out stock, for now ...
I used a light net and stretched it over the tonneau cover, zip tied it along the edges. I put the plug in the front and ran an extension cord up the bed so I can still open and flip the cover without unplugging the lights.

    back to bone stock.

what?! use Gaffer's tape. i stick the stuff on my carbon mountain bike to protect the material from cables rubbing the stuff down to the fibers. i can pull the tape off a year later and there is no residue.

you buy the tape at art stores. but for sure a photographer supply house will have it. it comes in black or white. correction..comes in many colors.

I just have so many trail stripes on my truck that I can't even tell if I get a new scratch.
