This is the first problem I have had with the truck since I bought it new in 13. Seems like they pushed a button and made it go haywire as soon as the warranty ran out.

Exactly. And if it doesn’t work correctly, it’ll be an enhancement request

Factory keys are passive and do not have a battery. Only the cheap knock off aftermarket keys have a battery.

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
You could check the crank position sensor at the ECM with an ohm meter
@DoorDing 's 2nd link has the resistance values. If it's outside that range, they say replace it.

Battery can read fine on voltage but still have internal problems. Do you have an extra battery you could try?

Alright guys. Finally got my truck fixed. It was the fuel pump. Thanks for everyone’s help.

Thanks for coming back with the final outcome. However, overall, this thread is a fiasco. This is a classic example of what happens when symptoms are not properly explained. Engine cranking is the starter spinning the motor. If you say it's not cranking, the battery is suspect. If the engine is spinning (cranking) gleefully, the battery is not the problem. So, based on all that, the official question for confusing symptoms should be, "When you twist the key, does the engine fan spin gleefully?" If yes, then that leads down a completely different path of diagnostics.
