I currently have a blue Tacoma (pictures at the bottom) and I want to copy this white Tacoma with its lift, roof rack, and wide body. (Pictures at bottom) I’ll be going with a rough country lift because I don’t feel like breaking the bank but everyone has told me not to go with a 6in lift. I’m still debating between a 6in or a 3in RC lift. Also I need tires to add on extra height. My wheels I just bought are currently still stock size so I’m confused on what tires to get.

When it comes to lift kits, buy once cry once. I've seen so many stories about how poorly the rough country rides.

ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. More to come of course.
That white one looks to be a long travel kit. All the flares will require a ton of body work as well. Paint is not cheap these days.

I have only used Rough Country for a spare tire bed mount. Its fine. It does the job. And their Black Series Lights. My bumper light shattered from the hardware being overtightened on the lense. They replaced it without question. The new replacement collects condensation and all of the hardware is stripped so I cannot take it apart to fix the issue. Apparently the same chinese kids, at the factory, made both lamp assemblies. I would not buy again.

That white truck is 2WD and on lift spindles (4", most likely) w/LT.

OP, is your truck 2WD or 4x4? (if 4x4, the only way you'll be able to duplicate that stance would be LT with a drop bracket kit)

You can find those wide fiberglass fenders online pretty easily. As for the lift, from what I've heard, 3" lifts and up will require extra modifications. Namely a differential drop kit, extended brake lines, aftermarket upper control arms, etc. I initially wanted to go with a 3" lift but I might stick to the 2" to avoid all those extra mods

If you don’t feel like “breaking the bank”, that’s not the build you want to try and copy. That’s an easy $15k+ in mods.

Drop brackets are stupid and absolutely not required for LT and 37's. Do not recommend them.

And no; the truck is on OEM spindles.

(Not exactly the same truck, but pretty close)

He's sold it, but as a lot of info on his IG for OP to copy.

Lol, looks like we have another DB-hater!

The LCAs on that truck are right at the same height as the center of the wheel hubs. Absolutely those are lift spindles.
I won't disagree that DBs are not needed with LT, but OP says he wants that stance on his... If his truck is 4x4 (he hasn't said yet), that is the only way to achieve it since you cannot use 2WD lift spindles on a 4x4.

His build. (See photos.) Those are not lift spindles. It’s a +3.5” LT kit.

It sounds like you may be motivated by aesthetics over performance. If you don’t want to “break the bank” consider settling for 5100’s and tires.

5100’s will give you a moderate increase in performance too. Rough Country will not.

It looks like there may be some confusion as to who's truck that is... I clicked the link Naveronski posted, and of what little I can see of the truck without having an IG login, it is clearly a different truck (and no, does not appear to have lift spindles).
The LCAs on the truck OP posted are clearly at the same height of the wheel hub (the tie rods similarly are well above the wheel hub centerline), and it looks to be sitting a good 5-6" above stock height.

You may be right, I didn’t look too closely at the truck on instagram. Will take another look. But if he’s sitting on 35’s with a 3” lift that’s 5 inches above stock height.

Yeah, not the same truck, but a pretty similar stance. Chad’s tires look a little bigger. You’re right about the level of the LCA’s and tie rods
