How can i unlock my rear seatbelt?

    I did a search and i guess i'm the only one with this problem.My rear seatbelt is locked and its driveing my daughter crazy,because she has to sit behind me(6'3)
    Before i go tearing into it and possible doing more damage,does anyone have a tip?

    Have you tried smacking the assembly with a hammer (sounds like the locking mechanism won't disengage [I have a knack for stating the obvious])...maybe the jolt will jar the mechanism open?.
