I usually try to keep mine pretty clean so I wash it pretty much as soon as it starts getting a decent amount of visible dirt on it. Dont get me wrong, i love goin out wheelin and gettin her dirty, but once I get back I like to give her the thorough wash down before its totally dried and stuck on, undercarriage and all!

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Before I had my truck I had a midnight blue, almost black 88' Celica. The thing looked beautiful when it was clean. But it also got dirty almost instantly. My Taco is light metallic brown. The interior is brown too. As a result, it seldom looks dirty at all. I keep it clean just the same. I'm sort of itching for a black Taco when I get a new one someday. But then again, having a dirt colored truck has made things a lot easier.

When I lived with my parents we had a really go car wash right up the street that would clean the inside and outside for $10 and they did a great job. I would also clean it myself really good about once a month. Then I bought my house and moved. Needless to say I try to wash it myself about once a month. The inside is really dirty. Lots of dog hair and dirt, no trash, just primarily dog hair. I never have time to clean my house let alone my truck. This weekend is supposed to be nice so hopefully if something doesn't come up I'm going to give her a good detail.

Depending on how dirty mine gets is when I clean it. If it looks really filthy then I'll give it a wash. The inside stays fairly clean. No trash just lots of dog hair that is impossible to get out.

Every other week due to my schedule. The truck will be getting a massive detail once it's warm enough (hopefully Monday).

I just upgraded from an '08 4x2 4 cyl. to a '10 Double Cab 4x4. The inside is always spotless and I am planning on keeping it that way with some Wet Okole's. I wash the outside once a week but it is hard to keep her clean since it rains almost everyday here in Hawaii.

I work a 7 day on 7 day off schedule and make a drive twice a week from Lake Jackson Tx. to Creole La. If I don't at least make an effort to remove the bugs and road tar/debris from I-10 after each week I prob would have a front end resembling a coral reef with its own unique organisms and ecosystems. I use hot/warm water and lots of elbow grease. The paint chips and scratches are adding up fast. Im not that picky about a little dirt on my truck and wheel it often. however, I have never washed a truck as much as this one:D

And this was last week. During the middle of summer on a one way trip through the marsh land of south La., it has completely cover the license plate:eek:

I'll never complain about a little bug splatter again. I'm sorry dude, that would suck.

Hopefully tomorrow is just as nice as today, just washed and clayed my truck, tomorrow will be polish and wax day.

Update: So Tuesday I ended up getting hooked on Modern Warfare 2 so I pushed back the detail. Now I'm stuck inside due to the big ass storm. Really should have just finished the job.

Well, Hunting season is pretty much all fall for geese, ducks, pheasant, deer.. by time hunting season is over it's too cold to wash or all of the doors and locks will freeze, at least through jan and feb anyway. Then march rolls around and it's spring goose season. after that i'll probably give er a rinse down.
