How cold can you go

Temperature is all perspective.

In late 2000s I was at a COP near Iran.... over 100s during the day. Had to hit the latrine at 1am. Walked out of my CHU and it was freezing. Went back put on my fleece and did my business. Came back and looked at the thermometer on the T-Wall and it was 90 degrees.

Also was stationed in Tampa Florida in early 90s. I saw people in winter coats when it was 70 degrees.

All perspective.

That is why the desert can be dangerous.

I’m in Colorado now and absolutely love the cold... bring it!

 

Anything below 64 is cold for me.

I believe that's -49 F. I live in New Mexico. We sometimes, but rarely get below 10 F, and then it might get up to 40 F.

 

As bad as Vietnam was, at least it was near 100 F and 95%. Never got cold there. Live in the desert now.

I live in Memphis and it’s about 30° right now. I still whine like a baby and I’m counting down the days to summer

This was the other day here, going to -19 tonight though. I took this because the kms are the year I was born, I thought that was cool
