Its not so much the washing part but I find it tough to dry the truck when its in the 40s or lower.

as long as the water is warm and the water dont freeze on my truck, i will wash it

but when it is below 45 i will go to the carwashes with the high pressure wands and turn on the soap and spray my truck a few times then do it again with rinse water. the ones near my are heated in the winter

Depends on the wind for me. 40-50 degrees is fine with me, unless the wind is bad. Anything under 40 is too cold for me though.

i've done it when it was 27 w/ 25mph winds blowing straight through the car wash bay. The water was freezing on the truck before i could move to the next panel, i was pretty much washing and rinsing each panel individually.

Before I could even start washing it i had to lay my absorber on the engine cover to thaw it out. That was the last time however. Now I wait till its 40-45+ if its real bad i'll get some hot water out of the house though.

Mine needs a bath badly though, she's lookin sad

I washed mine well below freezing when I lived in Utah for a couple years. Mainly because when I had my 2007 tacoma I wanted to get the salt off at least weekly.

BUT I had 1 big trick.

I had a hot water faucet plumbed out next to the garage so I could wash my truck with hot water all year.

    It was so nice!

It's 7 degrees below zero right now. Pretty sure that's too cold to wash my truck.

I'll wash my truck at home as long as its not freezing on the truck. I just fill the bucket with warm water. I like to get the salt off. If its colder, I'll go to the self service place and just rinse the salt off with the high pressure.

I washed my truck by hand yesterday and it was 50 outside. I used hot water in my bucket which made it ok. I once went to the car wash when it was in the 30's just to hose the salt off of my truck, it turned into a frozen trucksicle, i won't ever do that again.

I washed mine yesterday around 430-5 just as the sun was going down. It was around 35 degrees and falling fast. I tried to use a spray on dry off wax but it froze to the truck, so no go :D

In winter I don't even bother washing unless it's -15c or colder. Any warmer and the salt turns the snow into slush and makes a mess of the truck in no time anyways. When it's colder the snow doesn't melt and it stays clean longer.

All our car washes here are indoors with heated water.

I wash my truck in -20 degree no problem, just keep it running and crank the heater on high.
The key is i have a heated garage, so it will never freeze up!!
