Ya, but those are Canadia degrees.

Anything above -40 sounds colder than it really is :p

    Still nuts!

Grew up in northern midwest and trasplanted to the deep south years ago...coldest I've worked outside for any period of time was -24f (actual temp not wind chill) I can say after one becomes acustom to the local temps (hot or cold I guess) it doesn't seem that bad. At this point, for me, 35 seems really cold....enough so that I'm not sure I could go back north if I wanted to.

It's -25 C or -13 F here right now, not too bad as I'm outside for work as a plumber in these temps all the time. Does not bother me too much but its all what your use to I guess.

I'd be perfectly happy with a LOW of 59! lol

I've had my fill of snow.

Done a fair amount of outdoor work in Anchorage and Mammoth in the 0-15 range and I agree.
It's not the cold at that point... it's the wet. Stay dry and it's not a problem.

Though I did learn that when it's below about 20, it's not a good idea to just "toss" a traffic cone out of the back of the truck.
    They shatter like glass.
Our degrees are smaller, so we have better resolution.
We have 180 degrees between freezing and boiling.
    You have only 100.

'Muricans have high-def temperature. Canadaids are stuck with PAL :p

Agreed. If you are going to have crappy weather you may as well have some snow.

^^With the snow comes the folks who can't drive in it . We have had a lot of rain here in Southern MD for the last three or four days. No snow, but it is all around us. I hope we can get a little snow to play in this year. I was raised in the midwest and we like snow there.
