how come so many people have double cabs?

because its easy to get my baby girl in and out with her car seat.

 

The double cab gives you the room to take someone with you if you want or just have plenty of room for yourselves if you wish. I love mine.

 

Or is it because DC owners have extra room in their trousers? Compensating?

I know I can barely fit so much awesome in my pants, let alone my AC

 

Because some hot chick told me i had too much awesome in my pants and her man drove a AC....she said I needed a DC. I think i was in Florida...plus he didnt have enough room in the back seat.

yeah i think dc just look alot better. and they have room for kids and the wheelbase is longer... good for me and what i do.

 

I was originally looking for a double...but very glad i got the A/C, enough room for my girl and my dog...that's all i need!

 

Because they are AWESOME! So much more room for activities!

For me it was more practical. I wanted a pickup because since buying a house it seems I am always in need of one, but we also have a kid on the way so I will need to have enough room for my wife, me and eventually a car seat. Access cab would just be too tight for what I wanted.

So true, I've never liked the look of four doors on a truck for some reason. Regular cabs and access or extended cabs have always had my vote.
