How deep does the tray in this pix go back?

    Is it deep enough in to fit a 6.5" long CB radio?

    Not far back at all. If you stick your hand behimd it throught the pass/driver, you cam feel where it stops. You might be able to stick your camera behind it under the dash and take a pic to get a better idea.

    super easy to find out exactly, the cup holders just yank right out, and you can feel underneath it, i'm pretty sure it is not 6'' deep back there, like username says you can also feel behind the trim on the passenger or driver's side, also, u may be able to angle it more horizontal, there is a lot more room, to take the trim off, you just yank the bezel around the shifter (makes it a lil easier to spin off the shift knob) then there are 4 screws, and you can pull that whole center console out

    edit: if i remember correctly, i actually think the center storage box sits on top of that center console piece, but have no fear, that is literally 2 10mm bolts under the foamy carpet piece
