How did you decide on a color for your 3rd gen?

All I know is that Inferno is NOT red...

Dammit I hate you. I did it again.

 

I went with black because nothing looks better when freshly washed. It's an absolute nightmare to keep clean, though. Especially out west where we typically have tons of dust in the air.

Would I buy black again? Yes because I can never control myself, even though I always tell myself I'm not buying black again.

When I bought my 2016, it was whatever color was available in the configuration I wanted (DCSB TRD OR) and that ended up being inferno in november 2015.

I traded my 2016 on a 2017 MT earlier this year - I was up to about 50k miles and decided it was time to get the MT and tech package I wanted originally but were impossible to find when the tacomas started hitting the dealers in 2015. When I placed the order I laid out the configuration (DCSB TRD OR 6MT, Premium Tech) and said I want either Inferno, Quicksand or Blazing Blue Pearl, whatever has the shortest lead time. Any of those three were fine with me as they are the more unique colors. After a two month wait, my Quicksand Tacoma arrived. That was April 2017.

I was born and raised in North Texas, Job opportunities moved me to New Orleans, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston. and final home, to Dallas
The nature of my Job kept me outside 10 -12 hours a day. where the end of the day meant my truck has set in 110 degree heat . From a purely scientific
prospective, what will be the coolest color to get into, and will cool down the fastest at the end of the day, My Super white Access cab TRD sport.
I like the other colors, but I like being comfortable too

I bought the only DCSB 4x4 they had in October of 2015, while I was there getting the 15k service done on my 4runner.... damn impulse purchases will be the death of me. Happened to be a silver sky metallic Texas Edition which matched my dodge haha
