Yeah, well someone had to say it.

Think I have narrowed it down to sliver, Quicksand and now after looking at a black Sport I have thrown that in the mix as well.

So with that being said, I am 22 years old. I plan to keep the truck until I’m 42. Unless something miraculous happens and I end up with a six figure job by age 32

Black looks great, but is tough to keep looking good. It shows everything.

You have lotsa colour choices? Wow! Don't think I could handle that. It's like walking into an empty movie theatre, just where do you sit?

For me.... I knew what I wanted as far as tranny and configuration, but the color although important was my only deciding factor. It’s a big choice. U have to c it everyday and if u aren’t sold on the color it may b something to hold off until u r sure. Let your gut guide u. But if u decide a specific color, just wait for it.

Color can dictate future plans and what will look the best as far as color schemes etc. For instance, some colors like white can pretty much b complimented with most colored wheels. Other colors may look a little odd with certain colors. Silver to me is one of the colors u can do some wheel colors but not as many as other choices. I plan on all black wheels so I know it will look good.

That’s what I’ve heard. That I’ll love it for 10 mins and learn to hate shortly after.

Even with the new metallic flake paint, this will probably still be a problem too ya think?

I just like Tacoma’s. I like them all.

Plus I’ve researched too much and now I’m completely screwed up on what to buy

TW is going to pick OP's color. OP realizes the next day that he hates that color.

First look at price (u can save $ with different models OR vs. Sport)

    Second look at configuration

    Third look at color

Even if the color irritates u later, u still have the price and configuration u were looking for. If u hate the color that bad later, u can always wrap it. Lol!

I was 22 when I bought my 98 Tacoma new. Loved that truck but sold it a couple years later. Now I’m 42 and cannot stop thinking how awesome it would be if I still had that truck 20 years later. So good plan!

I have MGM an I love it. But I would say this about the colors you are choosing from. Blue and red are both cool and fun looking colors. Quicksand is a classic looking color that's cool for the off-roader personality. Silver is the most "adult" color (as in no frills, looks professional, easy to keep clean) and black is always a nice mixture of sophistication and coolness but it's a bitch to keep clean. This is obviously just my opinion, but maybe it will help you out.

Both look better with black accents to me, but I like the sport hood as well.

Out of those choices.....Barcelona Red Offroad model.

Thats what i chose. They arent as common and hardly show dirt at all. I love mine. But my last tacoma was silver and i liked it aswell.

White was my first choice with a TRD Sport Package. But after driving it I felt like I was sitting in a work truck so white was out.

But it looks great from the outside.

I was seconds away from pulling the trigger on that configuration until the dealer made me wait 4 hours to get my college grad rebate approved only to deny it shortly after.

Maybe it wasn’t there fault, but $750 is $750.

Talked them down from an MSRP of $37,500 to $34,615 before the rebate though. So maybe I’m the dummy for not taking it

That's the part where *superficial* works against you.

Look at some 20 yo vehicles with original paint and see which colors are holding up well and timeless in looks.

Funny how we are all different. I like the black fenders better but don't want all the extra crap on the OR that I know I'll never use.

Well said, on the plus side they all look good with the pro grill and black wheels regardless of color. So if I hate the color eventually I can add that and make up for it.

I feel like daily driving this guy in Ohio/Mass and Virginia on the regular will lead to some battle wounds at some point which means black is probably going to show it the most
