How did you decide on a color for your 3rd gen?

I agree, the OR accents look better to me. But the sport hood is cool. That's why I have the OR with a sport hood. I'm sure you could find a trade for the hood if you're patient or you could arrange the scooped hood with the dealer when you buy, although I don't know what they'd charge you for that. Also besides crawl control, the rear locker on my OR is a nice thing to have...

 

Quicksand TRD OR. The Black fender flares are a great contrast. Tell them to put the blackout package on for you. Done!!

Remember to get what you like and also get what you can afford. You don't want to get stuck with a payment that you struggle with... But make sure you don't settle for something you don't love since you plan on keeping this for 20 years... that's longer than many marriages

Just pick a color man. It doesn't matter what color your Tacoma is. They will preform the same. take it to your social media where people actually know and care about you.

I went with a TRD Sport Silver Sky Metallic.

But that's only because i needed a replacement vehicle sooner than later.

Quicksand would have been my first choice, though. 100%

 

Metallic will help hide some things, but it will still show more than other colors.

 

Hate the rims on the sport and love the black fender covers. Easy call.

Quicksand with TRD black flairs. It didn't take me two seconds to decide. I have owned so many silver ones, I couldn't take another one.

 

Since you asked -- I love the Blue --still do as I am really happy with my choice.

"Sexy" ??? hood scoop ?? -- when you are spending a lot of time washing/waxing around/near that useless bump in the middle of that big hood -- YOU will be WISHING you were HAVING SEX with your significant other -- INSTEAD OF cleaning THAT BUMP!
