oh yeah, I forgot that in my original post. I also had a high caster alignment done. That made the rubbing almost non-existent.

The rubbing was still liveable before that though. If I didn’t have to back out of my driveway everyday, I probably wouldn’t even have noticed it.

Picked up a new 2023 DC TRD OR MT6Spd in late December. End of the line for the manual trans V6 (RIP).

Added lift all around and jumped to 285/75/17s with AlphaEquipt wheels at ZERO offset. Lift is maxed out and running Ironman UCAs with upgraded Moog Problem Solver serviceable ball joints (greaseable via zerk). Ironman coils and foam pro shocks in front and Ironman foam pro shocks and Allpro Expedition 2 leaf packs in rear. All the other things as well.(ubolt flip, drops, etc - all the debatable stuff).

I spent a lot of time with a spreadsheet calculating how much offset would be best to clear everything including the aftermarket UCA.

Tires fit PERFECT with the ZERO offset. No rubbing even at full articulation. Only small area of running is at full lock left or right on the respective side UCA it rubs ever so slightly.

    I did not cut anything.

My opinion is if you find the offset that works for you you can minimize other modifications. For me I did not need the “bro stance” that people seem to love that just ends up requiring further modification and also extra wear on steering and other components when you stick the tire out there. Also keeps the truck a bit cleaner by containing wheel spray inside the wheel well like it’s meant to be. Just my opinion but I’m a 48 year old with four kids (two of them driving) and a practical fleet of cars and my daily driver is a minivan (granted it’s an AWD Toyota Sienna). I’m old and boring so is my opinion.

Everyone is different and every truck seems to be a bit different when it rolls off the assembly line!!

There is quite a difference in tire size between brands/models. The at3ws in 285/75r16 were almost half an in narrower then the At4w in the same size.

My pro is stock height with 3°of caster bmc pinch weld flat minor trimming on the front edge of the bumper with the plastic heated and molded back. 16x8 - 25mm f5s 285/75r16 at4ws with custom made mudflaps molded to match the bmc and I dont rub anywhere. Not even close. 20240916_145318.jpg 20240916_145358.jpg 20240916_145153.jpg 20240930_002335.jpg

I just got Falken 285/75R16 A/T4W's with a 2.5 inch lift, some trimming involved. Wheels are -6mm offset but look great, KMC KM535 Granade. 20241010_171114.jpg 20241010_171117.jpg 20241010_171202.jpg

wheel offset is probably most important aspect. +10 to 0 and they basically clear as is. keep going negative and gets a whole lot harder. i fit 285/75r16 with +5 offset. no lift and zero trimming.
