be sure and find one with several yrs exp in deep tissue... and make sure u ask if they know "trigger points" bc there are several that need to be worked on for whats goin on with u. they are mostly in the forearm and upper arm to the shoulder. and they need to work on yur levator scapula muscle to relieve tension on yur nerve ;)... if they dont know all this... dont let them touch u!

07-do you guys mess with that main nerve like that? I would just let it un inflame on its own-you got a HOT nerve there pal! Time can do wonders! A few days is all.

um im confused... there is no such thing as a g5 or g6... there is c1-c7... t1-t12... L1-L5... & sacral... if u are referrin to yur cervical vertebrae then they can relax the muscles causing the impingement. that is what we do... or excuse me, what the ones that know what the hell they are doin and care about what they do. u can always ask them first before they touch u. if they seem confused then leave. i wouldnt want someone to work on me that dont know what they are doin

we dont mess with the nerve at all... that is not our job. we only work with soft tissue that surrounds nerves. we relax the muscles causing them to relax and keep it from pinching. most of the time its from muscles bein too tight/strained. and the whole trigger point thing doesnt touch nerves either. if its inflamed u would be able to tell... but then again a nerve is never inflammed... just muscle tissue is

I dont mean to overstep here but it is my understanding that the "spinal" nerve tissue can swell due to trauma, causing itself to be "pinched" in between the vertibrae.

yeah, that sounds right... the nerves i was referrin to though are the ones that branch out through the muscles. theres no way we could ever reach the ones yur talkin about anyways. i guess theres so many different ones/bundles to refer to... guess we all shouldve been more specific

I searched "tacoma forum." This is where I ended up.

This place reminds me of other forums I'm on where the regulars here all dick around with each other instead of being super serious all the time like I've seen on other forums. Much better environment here than other places.
