this is really the best toyota site Around I think... I may still be a ttora member but i havent went on that site for 2-3 years probably... lots of snobs or guys who think if you ask one question it means your a newbie that doesn't deserve the help... I think I asked once on there (way back) about the pinch weld mod i kept hearing about (on 1st gens the rear of the front fender has alittle weld you can fold back for extra tire clearance) and all I got was a bunch of reply's and pm's that I should stop being a newb and go look it up....which is why I was there in the first place...o well this place rocks most the people on here seem like my type of people or atleast are different but polite...I may not get along with everyone but i try to help you out even if your truck is stock or has 100K in it

I was searching the net looking for ideas and pictures of modified Tacoma's. The people here seemed pretty cool so I kept reading the different posts and became hooked. The only problem is my list of my desired mods keeps getting larger after seeing the great ideas here. The spouse is not a thrilled as I am. Do we really need to pay the mortgage every month? :D

+1 on that. Been here a few months now and seen what, maybe two threads where people got shitty to each other...and the mods stepped on those quick. I've been on other sites where all you gotta do is say "boo" and it turns into a fight. Still impresses me how much more mature people act here. And we have some fun doing it!

Blind search on Google, guessing that since I had been on a Dodge forum before that there should be something for the Tacoma out there somewhere -- and here I am.

I was posting trying to find others on CT when another CT member directed me to these forums. Well, I'm going to meet some of you at Uhwarrie in a couple of weeks, read up on TSB's and got to enjoy the atmosphere so much that I stayed.

I started posting up on CT (nothing controversial, just trying to participate) and was basically bashed time and time again without provoking anything (through PM's and posts). Don't get me wrong, I've made some friends over there but who needs to deal with that drama?

It's only been lately that things have gotten nicer on CT - so by all means if you have time, hang out in both! I only have so much time on my hands, so I have to spend my time on one... TW.
