How did you mount your Hi-Lift?

    i'm going to be mounting my hi-lift in my bed this week, just looking for pics of how you guys are mounting yours. :)

    dirty truck mod, custom trailer scratch on tailgate, husky floorliners, OME Lift
    I dont have pics at the moment, but I got the idea from another member to mount some brackets out of flat bar on the bed rail and use quickfists. I just bent the flatbar into L's and put the quick fists facing upwards. Works pretty good. I've needed to add lockwashers cause they vibrated loose, but otherwise it works like a charm.

    i have the 4xrac hi lift mounts, but debating on getting some quickfists instead.

    a rack is a good idea, but big money, and im not all that wild about the look.

    I made this for mine. it bolts in with the bolts for the rails and required no drilling of the bed. [​IMG]

    One thing I might have doen differantly is make the brackets a T shape. I noticed that if the bolts were not tight enough, they brackets would shift a little. I need to take them off and repaint them. They are rusting up. I'll try to take some pictures in the morning if I remember and post them in a day or two. You'll have to try not to laugh at all the crap in my bed. I'm not like a lot of guys on here that keep thier rigs clean. I just use it and abuse it then clean it up about once a year. :D

    Here is a DIY I wrote on how I mounted mine. Has held up great for about a year now. Very Solid, but does require a few new holes in the bed.
