Stalled for 4 hours before I could grow a spine and ask her. Then I just got down on one knee, told her I had stalled long enough and asked her to marry me.

Totally surprised, which is what I wanted.

Mine wasn't anything special.. I told my wife to take a shower and get dressed up because we were going out to dinner.. while she was in the shower I laid out a path with roses to our back yard where we had a gazebo covered in vines. I had candles and flowers all over and was standing there waiting for her to walk out.. I used 10 dozen roses to make the path and everything..

 

My gf is obsessed with penguins. I took her to the Knoxville zoo a while back for her birthday and set up some thing they do where you can meet a penguin and pet it and shit. She loved it. So for the proposal I took her back to do the same thing. She didn't know this, but I had called and set it up to where when the penguin came out the ring was tied to its flipper with a ribbon. I also had the local news team come out and film it. She thought they were there just to do a promotion to get more people to come. I had all the women in there balling their eyes out. She loved it.

 

Thought maybe I would revive this thread lol! Got plans to buy the ring soon, just trying to gather some creative ideas!
