How do I align my steering rack

    Does anybody know how to align a new rack and pinion .. can I measure both ends of the shaft till equal lengths I also seen a video of a guy saying your turn it all the way to the left the to the right and find the middle ?

    You gotta count, then measure as a back up to validate.

    It's usually 3.5 turns so you divide by two, max it, and turn it 1.75 times, then mark it, turn 1.75 and make sure it maxes that way.
