    Hello,

As I sit and wait for my new truck to be delivered (2017 Blue TRD Sport DBL Cab Long bed w/ JBL) - been waiting since December - I'm supposed to get it before the end of February - I've been scouring this site, youtube and various manufacturer sites trying to decide on which lift to buy when I'm ready. Tire-wise I want to go with something around a 285/70/17 and am thinking about a 4" lift - something where I don't have to do any trimming and can still have some decent wheel travel without rubbing. Now, for the most part, this truck will be my daily driver, it will see some beach driving and some trails but nothing too crazy. One shop near me recommends BDS and the other shop generally does Rough Country but both will do whatever I want. I've read here that blocks are a four letter word but, is it really necessary to spend twice the money on a coil over setup and a leaf pack etc. for what I'm going to be doing with the truck? It's not a frugal thing but, more of a practical thing i.e., if I need to spend more money to do it a certain way, then I will. But if its unnecessary, that's more money I get to spend on other stuff. So, now that I've rambled on and on, I leave it to the folks in the know on this forum. How do I choose a lift kit / how did you decide on yours? Thanks in advance for your advice.
