I bought a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRT off-road crew cab six speed standard, the guy before me change the wheels and kept the original tires with the TPMS sensors, I do not have the sensors I want to disable the light on my dash without having to buy sensors. In my 2006 there was a wire behind The dash that I grounded out and it shut the light off. Does anybody know a way to shut the light off on my 2016?

You have individual tpms sensors that read each tires psi separately only way to remove light is with sensors or electrical tape

Or pull the lamp out inside the dash unit.... That would probably work too! Not terribly difficult .. there was a thread about taking the dash unit apart a while back... I've done that on a Honda. It's a pain TBH but I guess better and cheaper (if you don't break anything) that looking at that light specially at night.

Best to get new sensors and take to a wheel/tire shop have the wheels balanced and new sensors installed then they should program it for you free... the dealership charged me .... chapped my ass too, good.
