My spare was stolen a couple weeks ago. I just bought a used 17" 6-lug Toyota wheel with tire from one of those used tire places.

Is there anyway to know if this wheel has the TPMS without removing the tire?

It should have a silver steel valve stem.

Is Your tpms light on? Looks like a tire with brackets on each side, But like chris said should be a silver valve stem.

My TPMS light is on. It came on when my spare was stolen. Right now there is a new spare in the bed of my truck. TPMS light is still on but I've read here that it will need to be reprogrammed at the dealership.

Yeah you need a new sensor and can only be programmed by toyota's magic wand.
